In this case if you complain to the town they may condemn the building and everyone will be evicted! On a 15amp breaker there should only be about 7 devices on that circuit to safely operate. Since evolution has been proven, (fossils, human genome 96% chimp, etc.) then we are just talking animals when it all comes down to it. We die the same way every other creature on Earth does. Everything you are is in your brain and body. Once your brain decomposes that's it your gone. Only your atoms still exist. It's pretty sad. It seems like an afterlife is impossible in reality. But at least the atoms are recycled create more life. If death is the end then human existence doesn't even matter? It's only a meaningless spec in this super big universe? Not being negative just realistic.

Perhaps this boils down to: how cd the human makers pin down intrinsically vague, gauzy, ill-defined words like these which, despite such characteristics, do have meaning or meanings to humans? There are a lot of words like these, many of them emotively charged & inseparable in significance from the experience & emotional "universe" of humans. Unless we make computers as robots, living, feeling, & emotively thinking like humans, can we make computers that cd really understand humans? Even if we could, wd we want that? It wd be like creating another species of intelligent beings. Cd we do it w/o giving them access to & the feeling of "free will?" But going back to my original question, wouldn't "pinnning down" the meanings I've refrred to involve scientists/linguists/philosophers in "vicious circles" that cd be "broken" only by - partially - real human existence? You mean switching to first person from the fathers POV? Or going to third limited (staying in 3rd person but only showing what the father sees and experiences). I think switching to first person suddenly would be a little wierd and disruptive to the story. You'd have to have a really good reason for doing it. If you decide to just switch to 3rd limited, that's a much less severe jump for readers and its going to be easier for them to accept without having to consciously think about it. I've never seen a book (I don't think) where the author jumps from 3rd to 1st person, and I think it would bother me a little bit. I guess its all about how you execute it though. If you can make the transition smoothly and you have a good reason for doing it, I suppose it could work.

I also learned that the internasal strangles shot can cause a mild case of strangles. If you have strangles it is always followed by a high fever. I know first hand that it can be up to 3 months incubation period. I know this from a mare and foal returning from a infected farm. Now I have also had swollen lymph nodes occur from strangle shots and open. My vet told me it wasn't secondary! That ended up being bullcrap so don't let anyone tell you different. I again had 3 horses affected by the mare that was juicing everywhere. I do not give internasal strangles anymore for this reason and not to mention how much the horses hate it and how many times I almost got severely creamed for slapping legs. My point is, you probably only have a infected lymph node if you have not exposed your horse recently to the strangles shot. Like I said, Strangles comes with a high fever. Take a syringe without a needle on it and flush the hole with betadine. You can also go to your farm store and get a triple antibotic thats used on cows for mastitis. Its in a syringe but you want to flush the wound first. Keep a eye on him for safety reasons and if it was me, not knowing your horse like you do, I would quarantine him intill it stopped draining. But you know where your horse has been. I just reread your post and just because she has had the strangles shot, does not mean squat! If you have given it recently I would contribute it to that. When I have had them react to it, it was anywhere from 2-4weeks after the nasal. The reactions from the shots were no fever, just a small abscess that would open and drain. Wishing your horse well!!

Pain in chest and shoulder, won't stop, don't know why?

i was in cl (high school, i'm a teenage girl, no health problems, healthy weight, etc etc) when out of nowhere i started getting this pain in my chest, close to the middle but mostly on my left. this was around four hours ago, and it hasn't stop since then. all it's done is spread to the back of my shoulder, close to my neck, and i feel a little bit sick (but that might just be in reaction to the pain). it's bearable, but definitely not pleasant, and a few times (especially after laughing) i had to curl up and not move until it ped. so yeah i was just wondering what the cause could be?

Kitten who just seems odd/off?

I had a kitten once that I think was def. He was the same as you describe yours around loud noises that would normally scare a cat. Mine would just lay there and you could run him over with vacuum if you didn't stop because he would not move. He acted funny compared to our other cats but we just accepted his uniqueness and we enjoyed him alot. We just had to be careful because he couldn't hear therefore he would not move if he didn't see something and would almost get stepped on and other things. I would talk to the vet though. My brother had a cat once that he had adopted. As a kitten his head was slammed in a car door and he was never the same. The old owners were gonna kill him so my brother took him in. He was super weird. He would be doing something and suddenly just freeze like he forgot what. He would be in mid step with foot in air and just stop. He would stay frozen for sometimes up to 30 minutes or more if you didn't go remind him that the was moving. He probably would have stayed longer but that is the longest we ever let him stand like that before we went and nudged him or something to remind him that he was moving to go somewhere. He was a super sweet loving cat just mentally not right from the head trauma he received. The vets said there was nothing to do but love him and accept him the way he was. They explained he was kinda like a mentally handicapped child and we just had to accomadate him the best we could. As far as eating I think he is just a picky eater. I have a perfectly normal cat in every way except he will only eat one kind of food. He won't even eat tuna. I give all my cats some every now and then for a treat and he turns his nose up. I have never before him seen a cat that didn't like tuna. But he just prefers that one kind of food and its not even a real good brand (Alley Cat) But thats all he will eat so I feed it to him. Treated wood for a childs sand box?

My Father in law is making a sand box for my son with lumber treated with Copper Azole CA-B. I have looked at websites that give information on it, but I haven't found an answer that relates directly to sand boxes. The violence in chicago is just simple out of control. Last night some man shot at a car and killed a little girl and shot an 8 year old girl in the head who is critical conditions. Also some gang members shot some man who was just standing on their front porch. Over 40 children have died in chicago public schools due to the violence all ages rangin from 13- 18. Just this past weeks over 14 people got killed and injuried because some people was shooting at the hospital just because it was it is getting close to summer time, I mean this is out of control, I can't even send my kids to school without worrying if their going to shot in the head while catching the bus. You can't even walk to the store without people fighting and gun shots flying and I know a couple of my family members have been victims because of this gun violence, when is the "change" going to come? Some crate questions. ?

I have done both and now feel crate trained is the way to go.I have used a wire collapsable crate which is now stored. It was for a black lab so fairly large but still ok for a puppy. I did not keep food or water in them. Puppies until they are housebroken need to have their intake limited. If you can put the cage where it wont be so warm, I would. My dogs now sleep with me no problem an d have their own comfortable dog beds also for when I dont want them on the bed. Daily 5 to 10 minutes of training a new dog is essential. remember to praise the behavior you want immediately and never hit your dog, they dont know why you did just that you did. Puppies are the equivalent of human babies and need to be watched and even a full grown dog unless highly trained is no smarter than a 3 or 4 year old. People that drive with their windows wide open or the dog in the back of a pickup drive me nuts. That dog does NOT know better than to jump out. I use the crate for about 9 months to a year until I am sure the dog is an obdient pet.

FWD mode turns off the solenoid that controls the rear portion of the AWD system. If it is in the early stages of shuddering, perform a flush (16 qt flush not 4 qt drain and fill) add some friction modifier - the GM stuff works well. Try to use Subaru trans fluid. Dex III can be substituted but the Subaru stuff is superior. Drive the car in clockwise and anti clockwise tight radius circles in any car park to free up the binding plates. Hopefully, the rear drum that houses the AWD clutches doesn't have notches embedded into it (will require a rebuild at that point) because it will be permanently locked at that point - the only way to be certain is to disemble the transmission or at least the rear portion of the transmission. A skilled technician can rebuild that portion in car. In some cases the transfer solenoid is bad but since you can turn FWD on, that is unlikely. The differential built into the rear of this transmission. The person who rebuilds this transmission if it comes to that must be familiar with this car. This transmission is built to aircraft specifications and the tolerances are tight. This is a job that should not be rushed.

I had a dream last night that I was strolling the streets of an unfamiliar area, with a couple other people who I didn't know. We came up to this beautiful church that was boarded up, and you could see around the windows at the top that it had caught on fire at some point. I remember telling who I was with that I love beautiful old buildings, and how sad it is to see them neglected. We continued walking and then all the sudden I was in an upstairs bedroom of an old victorian house that had been abandoned for decades. I could see the fire and smoke damage all around on the walls, yet everything in the room, like the bed, bedding, clothes, dressers, were clean and untouched by the fire. Almost like they had been placed there after the fire. All the sudden I could hear the people I was with in the hallway and I told them that we needed to quickly and carefully get out of the house because the fire had destroyed the support beams and floor that we were walking on. I Believe it would IF the Ownership were not like the Arthur Gl (The Owner of the Royals). With Denver and OKC close in Proximity they would be natural rivals and IF they were to use the whole "basketball was invented here" angle. Kansas City is the 7th largest city in land area and that is just KC Mo., Kansas City Kansas is #15 on that list so put them together with the Fact that in between K.C. and Denver there is nothing! I think they would get more Support than people realize, the Chiefs have all of N &S Dakota & MOST Nebraska and the more than half of the state of Missouri as well as about 50/50 split with the Broncos in Kansas and with the Bears in Iowa and i haven't even mentioned the South with Arkansas and Louisiana, I know i'm going to the extreme to think they would have that big of a fan base but it's possible. People laughed about colorado getting a Hockey team and look how big the Avalanche are in their fan base, EVERYTHING west of St. Louis, East of LA and south of Canada is a fan of the 'Vanche..... and think about it they would almost certainly start out as the #2 Team in town as the Royals are perennial 100 game losers and they still have a GIANT Fan Base and still seem to fill the seats most games and just think with an expansion team they would get the first pick in the draft lottery and hey if you can take ANY player you want why not take the senior star from the KU Jay hawks and ensure your fan base? Will they be the Chicago Bulls or L.A. Fakers with their fan base? Probably not but they could be a success full team given the owners will to win and build a great fan base!

I work for a woman who is paralyzed and need help finding some financial help to purchase her a Safe Step Tub?

The woman I work for is 54, so technically shes not a senior citizen, she has had multiple strokes which have left her paralyzed on one side, aside from that she also has had brain tumors, broken her hip and had pins surgically placed and has a colostomy. Part of my job is to give her a shower since she cannot get to the bathroom let alone wash herself on her own. She has a shower stool but she simply doesn't get completely clean, I looked into getting her a Safe Step Tub but her son is her only family that is actively in her life yet he is also disabled with almost as many issues. The idea of them being able to afford the tub on their own is far from the reality. We don't think M-Health will cover the costs, does anyone know of someone or some company that could help to pay for the tub? It would extremely improve the quality of her life in so many ways, not only would she surely be clean but would also improve her circulation and state of mind. Serious question - help with osteoarthritis in lab?

Its a long story but basically Ive taken on a 5 yr old lab x golden who was obese and stuffed with biscuits and cakes!!. Over 4 months Ive worked with him and got his weight down from 94lb to 85lb and its ongoing. He has had intermittent lameness over the last few wks and has been diagnosed today with mild OA. I'm now overhaulin his diet to get the rest of the weight off but obviously can't run him when he is lame. My question is for those dog owners who have experienced this condition. I would love some advice on how u deal with it? Im considering Glucosamine supplements but is there anything esle I can do? He is on Royal Canin Obesity management at mo. Your best methods of crate training a 1 yr old Pit Bull?

Get a crate that allows your dog to stand, turn around and lay down comfortably. Always better to get a crate that's too big than too small. As far as crate training, you'll be surprised how easy that really is. First let me say that I'm not much of a fan for using treats when I'm working with dogs, but they make crate training much simpler. Put Sheba's favorite treat in the cage and let her go in and come out with it, if she eats the treat inside you're almost done. Most dogs bring the treat out. Do this several times till she's comfortable going in and out. The next step is to get her to sit or lay down in the crate to get the treat. Always leave the door open and try to portray a calm and nonchalant attitude towards the crate. Make sure you have a blanket or something comfortable for her to lay down on. Let her leave the cage after she gets her treat if she wants to, then repeat the exercise of having her sit or lay down inside for her treat till she's just fine with going in and laying down. Finally get her to go in and lay down for no treat, don't close the door, but let her know now that you want her to stay inside. Have her water in there with her. All this should take about an hour. Do this for about 2 or 3 days in a row, a couple of times a day. When she will lay down inside the crate for several minutes at a time very calmly close the door, sit or lay next to the cage with her and you should have a dog that's crate trained. Good luck!

I've been working as an yst for 5 years now in various companies but started my current position almost a year ago. Everything was going fine until a few months ago, it was discovered that I had made some errors in some company reports which then needed to be restated. This last week, it turns out that I made another error that is causing my coworkers to redo some work as well relating to a budget change. I am not in any way purposely doing anything wrong, I just seem to not do things in the way the company expects and its hurting those around me. At this point, my boss is delegating projects that may have gone to me in the past to a co worker, I'm uming based on his thoughts that he cant trust my work. My dilemma lies in the fact that I'm now looking for a job, but I would rather apply for other positions while working here so that they cant contact this company for a reference. If I leave now, I will not be able to state that I don't want this new company to contact my former employers as I don't work for them anymore. This has never happened at any other positions I've ever had, nothing but glowing recommendations from former supervisors. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Parakeet With Unclipped Wings?

Hello, I have had this parakeet for about a year. His name is Angel and he is extremely tame. His wings grew out and he can fly fully now. I was wondering if we should clip them. He's as sweet as can be. He'll fly to you, your head (his favorite place), your arm, and everything. Whenever he finds my two otherparakeets, or my two other atiels, he flies over to them and grooms them and plays a bird version of tag with them. He lands on safe places, and he doesn't poop on anyone. And whenever I say, "bed time," or "Night night," he flies into his cage and pulls the cover down by hisself! But he having trouble closing the door, lol. But my uncle is paralyzed and he has nurses came every week. And Angel being the friendly bird he is, flew on top of the nurse's head and started to groom her. The nurse threw Angel on the ground (which I didn't like at all! *grits teeth*) And said "You stupid bird! Your owner's really need to do something to your wings!" And Angel flew to me and hid in my hair, snugged really close to me. I felt really bad. Angel was just trying to be nice, he's an all-people bird. He flies to every body, and most of the the time they love it, and pet Angel saying, "Wow! This is such a friendly bird! She (people think he's a her, lol) is so nice!" And I feel all happy inside. Do you think I should clip them? He is the perfect bird, but I don't want people thinking he's trying to attack them when Angel's really making friends. What should I do? I really enjoy him, and my family loves to sit and watch what he does, fly on my dog's back, climb on my dad's head when he gets up, tries to talk to the birds on t.v., he's perfect, but I don't want anybody making a mistake with attacking and making friends. He never tries to go outside, but he does enjoy sitting by the window and chirping to the local birds. What do you think I should do? 1991 Integra Exhaust where am I going with this?

In an attempt to get my Integra back on the road, I know exhaust work is certain. At my local shop, the price quoted for a 2.5" diameter "custom" catback was $350. I didn't like those figures given consideration the crush bends and cheap exhaust tubing. I know that I want 2.5" exhaust running under it.. fact. I see on ebay and everywhere else - - Catback Exhaust Systems T-304 Mandrel Bent blah blah for between $150-200. My problem with those is when I see that giant canister-shaped muffler... the one that makes that awful sound like someone dropped a vibrator into the john on an airplane. Can i run with a cardiac event monitor on?

My doctor had me get a 30 day cardiac event monitor because my heart skips beat, goes really fast, or goes out of rhythm sometimes because i was indirectly struck by lightning 2 years ago. I went running yesterday and played the recording back but it seemed like it was all distorted. Is the monitor not able to record it while i'm running because of all the movement? I am so self-aware and I yze so much I can't enjoy anything. I want to be dead by my early to late twenties, that has always been my goal. What to do while in Maui (HAWAII!) Our first time there =)?

I just went there for the first time also, in Maui. We didn't do a Luau because the people we were with said it was a waste of time. We went to Mama's Fish House, it was a really cool place, but the food is extremely overpriced, I don't recommend it, its like $300+ for 4 people. There is one awesome beach, I believe they call it Big Beach, check it out if you can. I HIGHLY recommend going snorkeling. That was a blast!!! If you can definately try to find the Big Beach, nice decent sized waves that break at the shore and a really wide open place with limited people. It may be a little more crowded since it is the summer now. Also, if interested, I would go deep sea fishing.

Why is my tank cycling taking so long?

So I've been a vegetarian for about 2 years. I'm planning on becoming a vegan when I move out, since my parents barley support me being vegetarian. Ideas? First idea is no idea what motor you're talking about since you didn't state manufacturer, or model of bike/engine or year. How about it's a 1980 Yamaha 2 stroke dirt bike- you would then usually go to a slightly higher exhaust port by grinding lip 1/2 mm on high side, enlarge carb 2 mm, drilll back of piston at intake side and get reed valve enlarged. Direct fuel injection is also possible if you have money. If the engine is something different -STATE IT. AFTER edit info- Now that we know it's a 4 stroke. First is clean up and exhaust interference at head/exhaust pipe connection- a minor step down of pipe to head port is common- just expand or file pipe so no abrupt change/blockage in pipe connection. Muffler replace with simple cone and spark arrestor screen- you're trying to reduce back pressure by eliminating baffle and using simple expansion chamber and outlet. Old Brooklands silencer still used some. On inlet- carb junction gets abit of match, carb jets need enriched- a slide valve Mikuni may have adjustable needles- raise needle to enrich. aircleaner- low restriction foam instead of tight paper. Cam timing and valve springs- if Yamaha made a racer you might get a reasonable priced cam with quicker lift- don't try higher lift unless clearance to top of piston is there. Fancy fuels or blower - impractical for cost- but if you get some model airplane fuel and use at 50/1 to start you can get a bit more power - be careful , the nitrated fuel causes a bit more heat.

Cuts won't heal, sign of diabetes?

I've had these cuts/scabs on my legs for about 3-5 months now and they're still there. They turned a purplish color, but they arent scars. Also on my arms i got some bugbites on it that turn to scabs about a month or two ago, and they're still there also. i heard that people with diabetes take longer for cuts to heal. Also i got diagnosed awhile ago with a form of anemia, thalemia. I know that that has to do with hemoglobins. Use all-natural organic clothing/bedding and cotton diapers with wool covers. Maybe a better solution is making sure the room is well ventilated and you use an air purifier? If you set the crib up several months before you intend to use it, you can air it out. You could try to find a used mattress form a friend or family member. Either way, cloth diapers is one way I keep harmful chemicals out of my baby's world.

What would cause all these symptoms at time dark stools, vomiting tar like substances,small pupils, spacy, large lump by & death? This happened to my mom who did indeed die. The coroner claimed it was hypertensive cardiovascular disorder which is not possible when you know what those really are. You can't die from that but rather something caused from that ( stroke , heart attack ect). I need to know what happened however we can not do an autopsy due to the fact that she was cremated 2 weeks before receiving the coroners report. She was 46 yrs old.

Well he is one of my best friends.. I have caught him lying to me once long time ago, but it was something small so I let it go and never mentioned it to him. Then just last week there was a situation where 2 people were involved, him and this other girl.
