Why are feminists surprised that people don't take the dictionary def of feminism seriously?
I learned my profession in college, when I was out of college I learned to forget most of what I learned in college about my profession, except obvious things like where the heart is and what bone is connected to the leg bone and so on. Most of the stuff I learned ended up being a waste of time, and the university course is 1 year longer with significant more theory. The theory of my profession is just that a theory. It's like dessert, it's nice but not necessary. The definition and the realities of feminism are quite different. The definition is like some kind of disney-esque movie family all cheery, warm and fuzzy, but the reality is like the family guy family, quite twisted and insane.
