Why is Obama's birth certificate investigation not front page news?

Just because he's not showing it to the public doesn't mean he's hiding something. Obviously he couldn't run for president by just saying "oh, yeah, i'm an american citizen", you can't even get your SS card without showing your birth certificate, they obviously wouldn't let you run for president without someone seeing it/looking it up.
