Parents: Do you make excuses?

It's about parents who don't know thier own place...my child wouldn't let me do this or they refused to do that or they made me do this.....hello...the parents think that they have to accept the childs will. They don't know how to be in charge, they let the child rule the roost. They don't want a fight, they don't want a temper tantrum so they let the kid get their way, but what they don't realize is that if they had a clue on how to be a parent, then they would tell their child what is going to happen and there would not be a fuss, the kid would listen because they knew they had to.
