Are the uncut Sailor Moon dubs the same as the normal Japanese versions?

I've looked all around and I still don't feel like this has been answered enough for me. From what I've seen it seems like the uncut still leave some stuff out and mess some stuff up, so is it just better to see the Japanese version or is the uncut dub the same thing? Thank you very much!
