What can i do if i was in an auto accident, and am uninsured but was not at fault?

Without your own insurance company to use, you are on your own and the other company knows it. You would have to hire a lawyer to fight it. Would it be worth it? After paying the lawyer would you gain anything? BTW, Cops do not determine fault as to who pays to repair a car. Insurance companies do that. Cops determine fault for traffic violations. Of course if the cop gives the other guy a ticket, the insurance company will consider it but they don't HAVE to.
